While Blanc de Chine porcelain (from Dehua, China) has a centuries-old history dating back to the Song dynasty, these pierced, vase-to-lamp conversions were made between 1950-1965 for western export.
Open work with beautiful raised cherry blossom details, resting on a carved wooden base.
One side handle is missing.
