Magnificent 19th Century French Neoclassical Gilt Ormolu & Green Onyx Statement Lamp

Grand-scale 19th-century antique statement piece (1880s Belle Époque).

Ormolu (gilt bronze/brass) mounts and green onyx column.

At a commanding 34 inches tall, this is a serious decorator piece.

Supplied with a high-quality, crisp silk shade

Completely overhauled and rewired to modern safety standards using an exceptionally long 185-inch (4.7-metre) premium gold fabric flex cord.

PAT tested.

While the 19th-century upper ormolu mounts, Corinthian capital, and onyx column are in fantastic shape with a beautiful antique patina, there is a prominent missing piece on the lower onyx base slab (clearly pictured in the final photo).
